Celebrate every day with a laugh or at least a little bitty smile. Today is National Cartoonists day in honor of the Yellow Kid, first color comic printed in 1895. I love comics. How can you not? Lets have a little fun. Here are three cartoons without a caption. Create a caption for one – or more – or create your own cartoon. The winner will of course receive credit and a prize of absolutely no intrinsic value. Still, a prize is a prize, right?
So what’s your caption, and what’s your favorite comic. I always loved Peanuts because Charles Schulz was so kind to
my husband during Roger’s Vietnam tour. He wrote to him regularly and even sent a set of books. For myself, I like LuAnn,
Stone Soup and For Better or Worse. Leave your captions here as a comment or send them to me ">
"> Come on now! Let’s have some fun! Join me here every day same time, same place. www.itsnevertoolate.com/blog Prize winners will be announced next Monday.
